Corsodyl Original Mouthwash
Uses
An antimicrobial solution which inhibits the formation of dental plaque. Indicated as an aid in the treatment and prevention of gingivitis and in the maintenance of oral hygiene, particularly in situations where tooth brushing cannot be adequately employed (e.g. following oral surgery or in disabled patients) and for use in a post-peridontal surgery or treatment regimen to promote gingival healing. Useful in the management of mouth ulcers and oral candidal infections (e.g. denture stomatitis and thrush). Available in Original, Mint and Alcohol-Free Mint flavours.
Dosage
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: thoroughly rinse the mouth for about 1 minute with 10ml twice daily. For gingivitis, use for 1 month. For mouth ulcers and oral candidal infections, use for 48 hours after the infection has cleared. Children under 12 years: should not use unless recommended by a healthcare professional.
