Imodium Instant Melts
Uses
For the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea and acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) diagnosed by a doctor. The tablets dissolve in the mouth with no need for water.
Dosage
Acute diarrhoea: 12 years and over: 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool. The usual dose is 3-4 tablets per day. Maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours. Under 12 years: not to be given. Acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with IBS in adults aged 18 years and over: 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool or as previously advised by a doctor. Maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours. Under 18 years: not to be given. If symptoms do not improve within 2 days of taking the product, usage should be stopped and a doctor consulted.
